Hiking and climbing are the order of the day!

A guided walk along the «Hireli-Grates» ridge and on to the summit of ‘Spitzen’, at a height of 2381 meters above sea level. Undertaken as a team and accompanied by a mountain guide, participants are rewarded with a unique and fantastic view of the surrounding mountain landscape and the valley of Grindelwald.

Transport to the First mountain station is via gondola lift. Accompanied by local mountain guides, a short hike brings you to Bachalpsee where you will be equipped and fitted with a rope harness, and then continue the climb/walk along the Hireli-Grate ridge and up to the summit of a peak called Spitzen (small summit at 2381 meters above sea level). Master together this balancing act and enjoy the rewarding, fantastic view of the surrounding mountain scenery and the valley of Grindelwald. The descent leads through lush mountain meadows directly to the Berghaus Waldspitz where you can enjoy a well-earned rest. (An alternative route via an easy hiking trail is also possible for individual guests).

Return journey to the valley is either in ‘comfort class’ by bus, or the sporty option is a hike down the attractive hiking trails, or for speed-demons, descent via «Trottibike».
